In 2008, a dozen students wanted to participate in the contest (including 5 of last year), 8 of STI Electronics and terminal 2 of the first.

We must always 90 seconds, picking up a maximum of ping pong balls (we compare these balls in the water) for mettres in trays (lakes). Then, we need to put solar panels in the right direction in other words straighten wooden plaques. And finally grow pucks into holes to redress the turbines.
A novelty this year: development of an autonomous part, in fact, the organization Planet Science has given us a superb field with a white line running from a starting point for pucks. Thanks to this support we will be able to push the puck through a completely autonomous robot. The autonomous (in test phase!):

The first competition was held in angers March 22, 2008.
We finished 5th out of 41 teams, we are therefore qualified to compete in national palaiseau. Our party has fully complied autonomous its duty and has worked to perfection. However, the main robot has shown some signs of faiblaisse (short-circuiting of the card, servomotors trops weak ...) that we will correct before our next appointment for national qualifications at palaiseau.
